Autumn 2021 – the semester when everything turns for the better but does not return to normal.
It is perhaps an understatement to say that there is a certain digital fatigue in teachers, pupils and students after the lightning-fast transition to remote education, remote test taking, remote assessment, well yes, remote just about everything, that Covid brought. That said, digital tools and aids in teaching are probably here to stay and and why shouldnt they be? The right EdTech used correctly is fantastic so this is something we are really looking forward to! RepresentEdTech does not work with emergency solutions or reconfiguring outdated software for an unexpected reality. We work with modern educational technology of established high quality and we are ready to do our part to help educational organisations take the lessons learned and build well-thought-out digital environments with the right systems in the right places for the opportunities ahead – for the future.

Turnitin
What is self-citation and what does it have to do with academic integrity?
Self-citation allows an academic to expand previous research or refer to previously published work. There are legitimate reasons to self-cite, as scientific research is largely cumulative and it is important to attribute previous basic work. But self-citation can venture into the murky territory of self-promotion that has become a concern in the research community.

Uni.cam
With students back on campus, the need for distance learning decreases, which many find a sweet relief. However, this does not have to mean that digital teaching must – or should – be completely put aside. Lecture capture enables schools and universities to ensure that lessons – with subtitles – are available and accessible to all students, when they have the opportunity to take part in them and in a way that fits their varying requirements. Unicam delivers the most user-friendly solution for lecture capture and is well worth a look if you want to bring the digital lessons learned from the pandemic years forward!
