If you work in education, you must make sure that your courses are accessible. Easier said than done … what is accessible? Why does it matter? How do I check that our stuff is accessible? Do I really need to?
Join us for a Lunchtime Learning lecture on June 22 at 12.00 where we will be joined by Gavin Henrick from Brickfield Education Labs. Gavin will talk about the essentials of the concept of accessibility, go through what it means and how to do it. This is not a definitive guide to becoming available, but the lecture has every opportunity to be a good update – even if you started the transition a long time ago! Brickfield is one of our partners, they have an accessibility plugin for Moodle LMS, but accessibility as a matter of principle is independent of the learning platform. Gavin shares his knowledge and experience in this area free of charge because it is something that everyone can benefit from, no matter how they work digitally. The lecture is in English and a maximum of 45 min.
